Nicole's Tinkerbell Birthday Party

I remember when my little girl was a "little" girl. When she depended on me for everything, when she wasn't so out spoken and independent. I remember when she was my baby girl.

My daughter just had her 6Th birthday party with guest Tinkerbell! I'm constantly reminded how how big and grown up she is getting each year. She has so many friends! How did that happen? How did my little shy girl turn into a outgoing social butterfly?

Tinkerbell did a silly "fairy magic" show and face painting, it was a real hit. We ate mini cupcakes (lots of them, lol) and goldfish crackers. We had 15 girls and everyone seemed to have a great time. Nicole LOVED being a princess on her special day and she LOVED that Tinkerbell was there! We had a blast

My NEW Clock

I decorated this clock last week. I added 12-2x2 inch pattern paper pieces. I also added the pink jewels. I have many more to make so this was just a practice. I still think it turned out pretty cute.

Nicole's Science Fair Project

Nicole is starting a science fair project. She wants to see what happens when she puts white flowers is colored water. She just got started.

8 hours later and they've already changed color....
We'll post more info and photos later.

My new CUTE pen storage

I have been blessed to have such sweet men in my life. While my husband was busy painting my file cabinet in Grandpa's garage, my Grandpa was hard at work too.
I found a cute idea from the twoPeas site and decided I wanted my own cute pen storage. My Grandpa took 10 feet of 2inch PVC pipe and cut in down into 4 inch pieces. It was alot of work for him. THANKS GRANDPA!!

The final product

I cut out 4 x 10inch strips of paper. I adhered the patterned paper with spray adhesive, taped the ends and then glued the PVC pipes together with super glue plastic fusion. The back is chipboard. I traced, cut out and glued it for some backing

I made a mini one for Grandma too. She has less pens than I do. I really like the pink I used on hers. Hope she likes it too (She gets it this weekend).

A pink file cabinet for my scrap space

My very very very sweet and loving husband took my old file cabinet and painted it orchid pink. It matches perfectly with my green and pink scrap area (which is now half the bedroom, lol). I plan on putting all my stickers in it. Yes, I have that many stickers (Not sure if that's good or bad?) but I LOVE stickers, I have every since I was a little girl. I just LOVE how the pink file cabinet turned out. I found a super cute green lizard at Joanns, I keep him on top of the cabinet. Here are pics....

My hubby posing silly. I love him sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!
